This June was quite a whirlwind of a month. Whew. Moving two very heavy letterpresses is not easy nor cheap! But we are almost ready to share some photos…lights are up and painting is almost done! I’m still not sure if this was the right move but so far I really haven’t had any regrets. Yay for change!

Finally...some really pun cards!

I’m not going to lie. I’ve always avoided making cards that have puns…mostly because I’m not really that clever when it comes to this type of humor. BUT, I decided to get on the pun wagon and actually had a lot of pun! Ok, I’ll stop. But check these out. I basically combined my fav things: birds (surprise!), an egg, cat paws, beautiful squishy cotton printing paper, neon ink AND VOILÅ! (Click on photo for slideshow.)

Did you know? Portland tends to have a few rainy days during the winter💧. So where can a person go to escape the winter blues? Japan! Sort of. Portland has one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan. Beautiful, fluffy green moss. Lovely streams meandering thru rocks and, uh, more lovely moss. One thing missing? People! And sometimes you may witness … a surprise sun break!
